Culture Experiences
$24,000 Goal
College tours and summer excursions bring on new adventures for the young men and build upon a major theme during the school year: exploring Black History that occurred locally, regionally, nationally, or worldwide. They are exposed to Savannah’s history through day trips planned throughout the year. But their summer excursions become an extension of their learning experience and the young men keep a journal about their trip and its potential impact on their culture and social horizons.
Mentorship
$20,000 Goal

We have a range of mentors from all walks of life who can support, empower, cheer, and provide young men with a unique perspective to improve self-confidence and be able to give constructive feedback that will benefit them in the long run. They are committed!
Annual Awards Ceremonies
$15,000 Goal
An Annual Awards Program is held at the end of each school year. Parents, caregivers, other family members, teachers, school administrators, and community leaders come to honor the young men for their accomplishments during the year. There is a special recognition given in the form of simplified rites of passage ceremony, to encourage students progressing to middle or high school to continue with their educational and personal pursuits. Afterward, our young men and guest are served a succulent dinner experience.
